Denise is 19. He has been with us a few months, is an orphan and has a few 'problems'. I met him when I arrived 5 weeks ago. He was hard to talk to, always loud and

It was sad today as we had to say good bye to Kolya one of our residents who has been with us for the last few months. We have known Kolya for 13 years

Ahh the things that tug on the heart - I walked into the centre this afternoon after a day shopping for building materials and one of our resident babies was really upset. I took her into my arms and she instantly lay her head on my shoulder and stopped crying. I guess babies know when they are loved and by whom they loved! I love these moments.

Camp Teams (dates vary but are within Northern School Holidays) - Annually

This is usually headed up by a New Zealand group, and there is plenty of opportunity to be involved.
If you are interested in helping at our summer camps, please contact us for more details.

Renovate Flats for Street Kids - April 2011

Join a team of New Zealanders coming to Vladivostok in April 2011 to do basic DIY (painting, plastering, replacing carpets etc) on flats for street kids.
Making the flats a pleasant environment to live in is key to providing these soical orphans with dignity and hope for the future.
No prior building experience required Departs NZ 15 April 2010.
