We had an interesting drive to meet the guys, driving in the snow on some rather unfinished roads!
After a four hour trip we were told that it would take at least another hour for the guys to clear customs. Little did we realise that actually meant another 8 hours!

After 2 hours of waiting we decided to drive up to the top of the hill to watch the cranes unload the ferry - where we happened upon the guys at the back of the customs area trying to fix one of their bikes. After about 6 hours of waiting the customs official came and got us to help the boys fill out their forms etc as no-one on the other side spoke English and all the forms were in Russian, At last by 7pm they were all done and we were able to get back on the road for the four hour trip home.
